Macarena Luzi (b. 1989, Buenos Aires) is an independent artist living and working in Los Angeles, CA.
Her work has a collage-like feeling, displaying a mix of bright colors, patterns, and abstract shapes that span from immersive landscapes to concrete shapes that imitate representational forms. Creating an aesthetic that feels both plentiful and fun, her work reveals the joy to be found in immersing oneself in creating through play, inviting clashes of color and contrasting textures. She bounces between collage, painting, illustration, clothing collaborations, textile design, and prints.
